as my grandpa dale would say '"the only thing better than the food is the company." so true tonight.

i have recently started hosting a weekly 'game night' at my casa every thursday. informal and flexible, the number of attendees has varied from week to week.

tonight was just the 3 of us: brad, windy and me. perfect recipe for a mood change: good conversation, new card games, lots of yummy cookies, chips and salsa with cream cheese, learning how to use "shazam" on brad's new iPhone (luuuucckyyyy), rootbeer, random music on the iPod.

win or lose, it helps put everything into perspective, doesn't it?
